The Music Ministry seeks to minister to all through artistic expressions exhibiting the character of Christ. It is a vital part of the worship experience and provides a creative space for people to utilize their God-given talents.
The Music Ministry embraces a blended, sacred music style that includes praise songs, gospel, spirituals, hymns, anthems, jazz, and classical. The ministry also includes liturgical dance. (more…)

In accordance with our Biblical mandate, the mission of the Social Justice Ministry of Nineteenth Street Baptist Church is to lift up and support those in society that cannot do for themselves. The definition of social justice is to ensure equal access to wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society. We are blessed to have a vibrant Youth Ministry that engages youth in the church and in the community through multiple programs, services, and activities. Our Youth Church and Church School programs are tailored to meet the spiritual needs of youth of all ages. Youth also serve in a variety of ministries such as the Usher Board, Liturgical Dance Ministry, and Music Ministry. They help lead worship services.
